beach cruisers. you need one...
those would be BIKES! rent them, they are cheap and a great way to see the island and peddle to the various spots a la the beach...the bikes are at your place once your arrive, all you do is ride. there are over 30 miles of flat, easy to traverse bike trails throughout the island. even if you just rent for one day, worth it!

many of you may want to rent a car, easily on site at the Charelston airport. however, here is some rental van info: Absolutely Charleston offers transportation in 15-passenger vans from the Charleston airport to Kiawah Island (approx. 21 miles).
Ask for the of $55 per person each way.
Reservations are required, preferably at least one week in advance.
