drinks @ the vendue.

Frommer's Review: 19 Vendue Range, Charleston, SC. Phone, 800/845-7900
If you like your drinks with a view, there is none more panoramic than the rooftop of the Vendue Inn. As you down your cocktails, you can take in a sweeping vista of Charleston that includes Waterfront Park, the Cooper River Bridges, and embattled Fort Sumter. Patronize this upmarket bar for your sundowner. From Sunday to Friday you can listen to live music, including jazz, reggae, and bluegrass. There's never a cover charge. Hours are daily 11:30am to 11pm.

(sorry no pics on the rooftop, but this is a great place to grab a drink + watch the sun head down for the night.

Spoleto Festival.

The 17 day long Spoleto Festival in Charelston runs thru May 31st-June 8th. Please remember this when making plans to stay in Chaz or if you want to attend any of the events. Super cultural event running for 31 years. Nick will have more to add...aftearll, he's the College of Charelston alum.

(Above photo): The 2007 Spoleto Festival USA's official poster is by renowned American artist Chuck Close. The 26"w x 38"h poster, entitled Large Phil Fingerprint/Random (1979), is a portrait of legendary composer and long-time friend Philip Glass, whose latest concert work Book of Longing will made its U.S. premiere at the 2007 festival.

"A beauty of an event...
As usual, the operas are surrounded by a teeming array of other musical events, dance and theater. And the charms of the city... are everywhere."

We have a lotta golfers--Greg Park, Johnny UK, Novak, Chiodini, Dennis, and my bro in law, Chris. We can get this going but let myself or nick know if you need help. should be some good clean fun out on the courses!
